Are you ready to take a vacation? Consider visiting the great state of Arizona. It offers beautiful sights, tasty food, friendly people and more culture than you could possibly cram into a single trip. If you do want to plan an itinerary, however, here are just four places to stop!

1. Grand Canyon National Park

You can’t talk about visiting Arizona without talking about the Grand Canyon. It attracts millions of tourists each year, but it’s still just as mesmerizing as the day that nature created it. You’ll feel awed as you stand on these gigantic cliffs and look at valleys and ravines as far as the eye can see.

2. O.K. Corral

Take a walk through history with the O.K. Corral. It’s where the famous shootout between Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday took place in the days of the Wild West, and you can practically smell the gunpowder in the air as you walk down the carefully-preserved street with its horses and saloons. You can even attend an OK Corral reenactment to watch the shootout happen in real time.

3. Bisbee

Bisbee is one of the most unique destinations in Arizona. Abandoned by the miners that founded it, it stood as a ghost town for many years before it was re-populated by an eclectic mix of hippies and squatters. Today, it’s a tourist town filled with all kinds of shops, restaurants and souvenir stands where you can purchase a piece of Arizona to take back home with you.

4. Havasu Falls

You haven’t seen a true waterfall until you’ve seen Havasu Falls. Located on a Native American reservation and accessible only by hike or mule ride, it’s clean, pure and untouched by pollution. Its blue-green waters look like something out of a magazine, and its gentle cascades can be heard for miles. You’ll definitely enjoy the serenity of Havasu Falls.

These are just a few great places to visit in Arizona. Whether you’re vacationing for days or simply driving through on your way to another destination, try to make time for some of these attractions. You’ll regret never seeing what Arizona has to offer!
